A big day of travelling in the camper

Wednesday 2/6 saw us do a few hundred kms in our campervan which only has about 1000km on the clock so we should more than double that during our travels. We made our way from Grenoble, through some very tricky but fun Alpine roads to Gap. While Gap was a little out of our way, I was keen to check out the town which will be the pit-stop of Stage 10 of next month's Tour de France. It's a very hilly and beautiful area that I can't wait to watch on the tellie when I'm back home watching the race.

After driving from roughly central France to the southern coast, we eventually arrived at our campsite on the outskirts of Nice. Our original plan was to spend just three days here, but we already love it so much that we've extended our time at the campsite until Sunday morning.
